Race to stop Ebola
FOUR more experimental treatments against the deadly Ebola virus have been approved for the Democratic Republic of the Congo as the government races to contain an outbreak.
Health authorities last week started administering the USdeveloped mAb114 treatment to Ebola patients, the first time such a treatment has been used against an active outbreak.
The health ministry on Tuesday said the 10 patients who had received mAb114 since August 11 had had a “positive evolution”.
