OFFSHORE: Out of action at the moment, especially in the morning, due to the winds. But if you can get in close, there’s snapper on 18 fathoms and some nice longtail tuna at Jumpinpin.

BEACHES: There are still some tailor at Main Beach and at the pumping jetty, but it’s starting to slow down a little.

FRESHWATER: Hinze Dam has been fishing well. There’s bass in the western arm and saratoga in shallower areas.

BROADWATER: There’s a few tailor, bream, flathead in the deeper sections. There are some jewfish too when the tide changes and tarpon around the Sovereign Islands. There’s some mudcrabs in the deeper water around Coomera. Report supplied by Gold Coast Fishing Tackle
