FRENCH BRED: JACK’S THE LAD

- KIRSTIN PAYNE kisten.payne@news.com.au

JACK might just be the Gold Coast’s biggest stud.

When he isn’t snoozing, enjoying pats or a run on the beach, Jack the french bulldog spends many of his days romancing female frenchies from far and wide.

The Insta-famous stud dog has 10,000-plus followers and a solid reputation as a canine casanova.

Sought after for his rare, Hawaiian Hungarian bloodline, the three-year-old Jack is in big demand.

His owner, personal trainer Stacey Hosking, said he was picky when it came to finding a partner for Jack.

“We select carefully, I like to know they are cared for and have a loving home,” he said. “I get a lot of inquiries on Instagram, but they’re not suitable.”

Stud fees can fetch an owner anywhere from $2000$5000, depending on the line.

Mr Hosking said the pintsized stud attracted attention everywhere the pair went.

“People love him,” he said. “He is a bit of a snob actually, he doesn’t really like blokes, he is more of a ladies’ man.”

Mr Hosking said he had not originally been a fan of the breed, but had been won over by their personality.

“I have never really liked small dogs,” he said.

“But frenchies are chilled characters, like little humans.”

The pair can often be seen gathering a small crowd during outings together at Marina Mirage and Broadbeach.
