Wallabies wait for Roar

MUDGEERABA’S finalround NPL Women’s fixture against Brisbane Roar/NTC will be played this week after rain forced its postponement yesterday.

The Wallabies were due to host the Roar at Sid Bigg Park at 3pm but the weekend downpour left their fields unplayable.

The game will now be played midweek, with details still to be confirmed.

Despite losing their past 15 games, Mudgeeraba (7 points) remain a mathematical chance of climbing off the bottom of the ladder, with victory over the Roar to move them ahead of SWQ Thunder (9 points).

The Wallabies have won two and drawn one of their 25 games so far this season.
