$600k win: we’re made

-

AN Ormeau mum says her life has “been made” after she won more than $600,000 with a division one lotto win on Saturday.

The mother was one of seven winners across the country. The winning numbers were 29, 18, 5, 31, 35 and 15, with supplementary numbers of 9 and 36.

The regular Gold Lotto player said she had marked her entry using special numbers, including family birthdates.

“I didn’t sleep a wink last night!” she said.

“I checked my ticket yesterday online. I scanned my ticket and I thought: ‘Gosh that line has four numbers.’ And then I saw six numbers. Then I thought: ‘Oh I’ve got the wrong week.’ But then I realised I really had won!

“It left me a bit breathless. It’s amazing.”

The woman said she planned to share some of her windfall with her family.

“I’ve been thinking about what we might do and how it will benefit the family,” she said.

“But we haven’t celebrated just yet. I was waiting to get confirmation that it was true.”

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning marked 12-game entry from the Ormeau Newsagency, Shop 11, at Ormeau Centre.

This recent win comes as another division one prize, purchased at Helensvale, remains unclaimed.

The Helensvale shopper is yet to collect their $671,513.12 from Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3867 on 11 August 2018.

The winning entry was purchased at Golden Lucky News, Millaroo Drive.
