SLIDING DOORS OPENED AT EKKA

Many years ago Lainey started the Cotton Parades at the Ekka and one of the young models chosen was Brisbane-born Jacinda Barrett. The show was so good that the Australian Government sent everyone to the World Expo in Osaka, Japan. From there Jacinda was encouraged to go to Hollywood, starred in films and landed a part in Suits where she met and married her co-star Gabriel Macht who plays the dishy Harvey Specter. As we know the show also starred Meghan Markle who has become quite famous of late due to her marriage to Prince Harry. Of course, Jacinda and Gabriel attended the wedding. One door leads on to another and it all began with a gig at the Ekka.
