I think it is instructive to note that the competing Fairfax-Ipsos poll a week ago, before the Liberal party exploded into its public brawling, had a similar dreadful 45-55 result..
All the Fairfax commentators seem to have completely forgotten their own poll, as they lament the dumping of yet another PM as “pointless”.
If they weren’t going to switch to Peter Dutton, what was the point of switching to a Turnbull man in Morrison, they’ve asked?
