A WOMAN who fabricated customers having pawned gold necklaces to Cash Converters so she could pocket the cash has walked from court with a $600 fine and conviction­s.

She was also ordered to pay $850 in compensati­on.

Kimberly May Clark, 31, pleaded guilty in Southport Magistrate­s Court yesterday to three counts each of stealing by a clerk as servant and false entry of records.

The court heard that in September and October last year, Clark, who worked for Cash Converters, made up three different customers who had pawned a gold necklace. CCTV cameras showed her pocketing the cash. After a relationsh­ip breakdown Clark was living in her car at the time.
