Police from NSW, Queensland and the AFP joined, um, forces to raise money for the Tweed Hospital Auxiliary and Gold Coast Hospital Foundation

A SEA of blue at Seagulls Club down Tweeds Heads way for the inaugural Police and Community Charity Ball. A joint initiative between the Queensland and NSW Police Force with the Australian Federal Police, the gala event attracted a huge crowd eager to support the cause. The aim was to raise much-needed money for two worthy charities — the Tweed Hospital Auxiliary and Gold Coast Hospital Foundation, for the children’s wards of the Tweed Heads Hospital and Gold Coast Hospital.
