Turnbull’s hasty departure a cruel blow for Morrison

-

REGARDING Malcolm Turnbull’s decision to quit Parliament, why would any seriously committed member of an organisation “spit the dummy” without considering the consequences?

Only a fool or a very selfish person or, in this case, both.

Mr Turnbull constantly annoyed me with is favourite power word, “assure”. He never stopped assuring us of what he was doing to fix any given situation.

Well he has done it again. This time he has ‘assured’ us that he will do whatever is necessary to have Scott Morrison evicted from The Lodge before he has a chance to move his toothbrush and clothes in.

Anybody who thought this fellow was a “big L liberal” and primarily interested in saving the country from being governed and bullied by the CMMFEU and Shorten, can now be assured that was rubbish.

His self-interest has allowed his gigantic ego to show us what a dangerous individual we foolishly allowed to become Prime Minister.

He will be remembered by me, as being a huge disappointment, weak, more Labor/Green than Liberal, a snob, an imposter who failed to convince Keating to endorse his request to represent Labor in the Senate. He then set out to enter politics through the back door.

How blind were the powers that were in control of the Liberal Party? They did not see what was ahead of them. It is a sad fact that this very clever snob from Point Piper was able to attain the most senior position in the country, under a Tory banner.

Where are the Liberal top brass now? Where is Nic Greiner, Liberal Party President now? Surely there is a coffee shop in Point Piper where this past PM (who will have his portrait hung in Parliament House forever) can be persuaded to reconsider his options and allow Morrison time to engage the enemy & hopefully save my grandchildren from a life of socialism.

Turnbull was a champion on the floor of that House when he was absolutely vicious in his attack on Shorten. Today he appears to have changed sides and would rather have Bill as his PM.

He was smart enough to accumulate several million in assets, so I am unable to accept that he has not orchestrated this departure to inflict maximum pain on his former Cabinet colleagues.

We are in serious trouble, unless Scott Morrison or someone, (alas, I doubt that many would think that I am the man for the job) can convince ‘The Snob’ from Point Piper to rearrange his stated departure date.
