FISHING

FRESHWATER: Bass still being caught in Hinze and Somerset dams, as well as yellowbelly in Hinze Dam.

JUMPINPIN: Flathead constant throughout the area, as well as jewfish around the Jumpinpin Bar. Bream and whiting around Crusoe Island and Kalinga Bank, and more flathead near the mouth of the Coomera River.

OFFSHORE: Snapper common offshore with the majority caught in the mid mornings near the 18-24 fathom, 36 fathom and 50 fathom reefs east of the Seaway. Pearl perch, cobia and tusk fish also in those areas. Blue, striped and black marlin being caught out wide around the Tweed.
