NERVES will be a given before Usain Bolt’s Central Coast debut – and that’s before he’s confronted with thousands of cardboard cut-outs of his own face staring back at him from the stands.

Friday night’s blockbuste­r in Gosford promises to be as momentous an occasion for the NSW region as it is for the sprinting great’s unlikely ALeague aspiration­s.

“I think that will be weird,” he said of the thousands of cutouts that will be circulated around the ground.

“There will be nerves, definitely. It’s not like it’s a charity game anymore – this is a career I’m pursuing.”
