NERVES will be a given before Usain Bolt’s Central Coast debut – and that’s before he’s confronted with thousands of cardboard cut-outs of his own face staring back at him from the stands.

Friday night’s blockbuster in Gosford promises to be as momentous an occasion for the NSW region as it is for the sprinting great’s unlikely ALeague aspirations.

“I think that will be weird,” he said of the thousands of cutouts that will be circulated around the ground.

“There will be nerves, definitely. It’s not like it’s a charity game anymore – this is a career I’m pursuing.”
