Man released after conviction for steroids

A GOLD Coast man was found with more than $3000 steroids after he struggled to develop muscle in the gym, the Supreme Court at Southport has heard.

Jared Mitchell Wilson, 28, pleaded guilty yesterday to possessing a dangerous drug and attempts to possess a dangerous drug.

Justice David Boddice sentenced him to two years in prison with immediate release on parole. Wilson was found with the drugs after a police raid on his home.

A conviction was recorded.
