Eagles look at options
NERANG are investigating the installation of surveillance cameras at Glennon Park following two thefts from the club in less than a week.
Eagles officials were shocked last Thursday morning when they discovered almost 20m of fencing missing from their balcony.
However, their pain was compounded on Monday morning when the last of the fence, as well as the entire guard rail from the vital disabled ramp alongside the building, was also stolen.
With the thieves believed to have used cutting equipment and possibly a truck, the club is now exploring the possibility of installing surveillance cameras.
“This isn’t stealing from a company or sponsor or some wealthy organisation, this is stealing from kids,” a club Facebook post read.
