MANAGEMENT CALL FOR JEWEL

YUHU, the Chinese group that has taken over the beachfront three-tower Jewel project, is believed to have asked a major property agency to help it find an elite operator for the project’s hotel.

Yuhu bought the unfinished Jewel this year and, perhaps unlike previous majority owner Wanda, it has decided that running a five-star hotel itself is not quite its knitting. It has apparently decided the 169-room hotel in Jewel’s 47level second tower deserves the best and is seeking a topshelf international operator
