BUFTA AT BOND IS COMING

- PEYTON HUTCHINS

CALLING all budding filmmakers — it’s time to put your creativity to the test and win yourself a full scholarship at Bond Universtiy.

The Bond University Film and Television Awards [BUFTA] are approaching, which means one lucky high school student will have the chance to win a full scholarship to study at the university.

Nicholas Brack, 2017 winner of Best Experimental Film and now Bond University student, said the opportunity was one that could not be missed.

“BUFTA is a once-in-alifetime opportunity to show off your creativity, hard work and commitment to filmmaking,” he said.

“Without the people at BUPAI wouldn’t have been offered as many opportunities as I have and they’ve really made my time at Bond thus far an incredible experience.”

The scholarship consists of 16 categories and genres, giving students endless reasons to get creative.

The competition closes September 30 and everything you need to know can be found on the BUFTA website.

“I would definitely recommend anyone to submit their films because there’s nothing to lose and everything to gain,” Nicholas said.
