Proctor back with Kiwis

NEW Zealand have brought Jesse Bromwich and Kevin Proctor back in from the cold by including them in a squad to play Australia next month.

Bromwich and Titan Proctor were stood down from last year’s World Cup as a punishment for being caught using cocaine after a Test in Canberra against Australia.

Kiwis coach Michael Maguire said this year he wanted to bring them back after the Kiwis failed to make the World Cup final without the pair.

The Test against Australia on October 20 in Auckland will prepare the Kiwis for a three-Test tour of England.

The NRL expects to know this week if a Test on October 27 in Auckland between Australia and Tonga will go ahead.
