WITH tourism being our main economic driver, it was fitting that the hotel kingpins Mantra Group chose our city to host the company’s annual Awards for Excellence. The Mantra on View Hotel in Surfers Paradise was the location for the big night with industry representatives from across Australian and the Pacific jetting in to join the fun. It has been a busy year for the company highlighted by the merging of Accor Hotels and Mantra Group to become the leading hotel group in the Pacific.
