Cannot understand how government and council can justify 1.4 billion dollars for lightrail between Broadbeach and the airport. The double-decker buses are most of the time empty. Anybody think the trams will be full? A waste of taxpayers’ money. John

In my opinion, a certain NRL Club making headlines, for all the wrong reasons, should be

expelled from 2019 competition. There certainly needs to be a complete overhaul of the code of conduct penalties for on and off field misbehaviour in all team sports. Sporting bodies, clubs, sponsors, fans & families deserve decent tole models of the players. The way things are going, sport will not maintain sufficient interest into the next generation. Politics and Sport have been decimated by disgusting and dishonourable behaviour.

If development goes ahead on the flood plan at Mudgeeraba for the horse trots n greyhound dogs etc goes ahead and Glenwood park residents get impacted and get flooded those that approved it will be responsible for a class action.
