Family’s grave decision

A FAMILY left devastated by a broken family headstone at a city cemetery are preparing to take council to court.

The Costi family have also slammed Gold Coast City Council for its lack of communication despite claims made by council yesterday that they worked closely alongside them.

George Costi said the family had now briefed a legal team and would take council to court if they continued to refuse funding its reparation.

“It’s a matter of principle,” Mr Costi said.
