Grand finals rescheduled
THE washed-out Football Gold Coast junior grand finals have been rescheduled for Friday and Sunday.
Rain forced the abandonment of the games at the weekend, with league officials quickly locking in catch-up deciders at Robina’s Ron Penhaligon Way and Labrador’s Keith Hunt Oval.
The under-16 JPL grand final between Nerang and Mudgeeraba kicks things off at 6.15pm on Friday.
Mudgeeraba and Robina (under-15 Division 2) and Pacific Pines and Robina (under-15/16 girls Division 1) are among the other fixtures on Friday night.
Ormeau’s clash with Kingscliff (under-13 Division 3) is among Sunday’s games which kick off at 8.30am.
