UK trip incentive for juniors

RISING Gold Coast and Tweed footballers will have the chance to take a giant stride towards their dreams when talent identification company EPL Star arrives in the region this month.

With EPL Star trials to be held at Tweed Heads on September 23, the highest-scoring under-10 and under-12 players will win an all-expenses paid trip to the UK to build their football careers.

The company, which has teamed with Pro Soccer Global and Nike Team to offer the trips, features an objective testing system used in world-class academies such as Leicester City and Paris Saint Germain.

Licensed football agent Chris McGrath, a co-director of Pro Soccer Global, said the trials represented a rare opportunity for young players.

“I have long been aware of the football talent in Australia, which is why we have teamed up with EPL Star to create this incredible opportunity for a selection of players to come to the UK to tour with Pro Soccer Global,” McGrath said.
