Dutton is a capable Home Affairs Minister and should be congratulated on his major achievements helping keep Australia safe.

Whether his recently reported actions are true or not, they are much less significant than his major responsibilities.

Given the large amount of undetected interstate trafficking, the decision to show ID for domestic passengers passing through several major cities is a good one.
