MIA Freedman of MamaMia fame is certainly a powerhouse. The now 46 year old (she looks 26) was a special guest at the RizeUp lunch at RACV Royal Pines Resort on Thursday. A precocious talent, Mia was the youngest editor of Cosmopolitan magazine at 24 before founding her far reaching social media network. Chatting to Mia, we asked the most important lesson she had learned from her journey. “It is to have very strong foundations. When the winds blow you need to have that strength and support in your marriage and friendships to help get you through those tough periods. It requires time and effort but just like a house, those strong foundations will serve you well.”
