Stone part of club history

GOLD Coast product Jamie Stone helped University of Queensland win its first Brisbane women’s division 1 grand final on Saturday.

Stone and former Roosters player Rhyleigh Brown were part of the UQ outfit that beat Easts 1-0 at Colmslie.

The Easts team featured Morgan Mathison and Ruby Harris, who won the Gold Coast division 1 title with Burleigh seven days earlier.

Gold Coaster Arin Doig helped Easts beat Pine Rivers St Andrews 3-2 in the Brisbane men’s grand final.
