Shanks the star in win

A LEE Shanks masterclass at the Croatian Sports Centre on Saturday helped Musgrave survive a second-half fightback from Broadbeach United to claim the Coast League Reserves grand final 3-1.

Shanks, who was named man of the match, was a key figure as the Mustangs took a shock 2-0 lead into halftime.

However, the Dolphins hit back to level things up at 1-1 after the break.

Musgrave, who finished 15 points adrift of table-topping Broadbeach at the end of the regular season, then scored a third and decisive goal to complete a remarkable title run.
