More than $20,000 raised in memory of tragic teen

-

THE Gold Coast community has rallied around the family of the Ormeau Woods student who died suddenly while at school.

A Go Fund Me page established to support the family of 15 year-old Lucas Millott who passed away in a shock “medical incident” during class last week, has raised close to $20,000 for his memorial.

The death of the teen, remembered as an “incredible boy”, sent shockwaves through the school population. Page organiser Shaun West described the boy as one “full of love”.

“Our children have all grown up together,” he said. “He was a 15-year-old boy who enjoyed life. He was quiet and made everybody laugh, he was just one of those kids who love to love. Not a bad bone in his body.”

Those who want to contribute can do so online at the Lucas Millott Memorial fund.
