Sending off shocks Mat
MAT Rogers knows how to play and read a game – but even he didn’t see the curve ball coming when he was voted off Australian Survivor.
“I was totally blindsided,” the NRL great said after he was sent home from Fiji in last night’s episode.
The former Gold Coast Titan had been one of the dominant players on the show, forging close bonds with some of its most fierce competitors.
“I had all my chips on the table, that’s for sure,” he said.
“It was good though. I’m not the guy to sit back and let things happen. I prefer to be in the middle of it all.”
While Rogers found the doublecrossing involved in the game tough, he said leaving his family to film was the greatest challenge he faced.
