Strong finish in Bulgaria
BRISBANE rower Jacinta Edmunds has won a bronze medal with her Australian eight crew at the world championships that wrapped in Bulgaria.
The Australian men’s eight also won a medal, a silver, as the two crews both laid promising platforms for the Tokyo Olympics.
Australia, with two gold medals, four silvers and one bronze, ranked fifth on the regatta’s medal table, with Sydney’s 2016 Paralympian Erik Horrie claiming a fifth consecutive world title in the PR1 men’s single scull.
