Grants for biodiversity
TWEED Shire Council has launched a $60,000 annual grant program to tackle climate change and biodiversity.
Tweed Mayor Katie Milne announced the program at the Sustainable Living Home Expo at Kingcliff TAFE, and said applicants can now develop solutions to the area’s problems.
“This grant gives us the opportunity to draw out the vast wealth of great ideas and goodwill that is within the Tweed community,” she said.
Applicants can receive up to $15,000 and be assessed up to four times a year.
