PM backs power play
PRIME Minister Scott Morrison has backed his energy minister’s scathing remarks about emissions reduction policies, saying he wants to see more “fair dinkum power”.
Angus Taylor wrote in the Australian Financial Review that policies relating to emissions reductions were “corporate greed dressed up as saving the planet”.
Mr Morrison said he wanted options to push “greater investment in what I call fair dinkum power, (which) works when the sun doesn’t shine and wind doesn’t blow”.
