Walters OK for decider

EASTS five-eighth Billy Walters has been cleared to play in the Intrust Super Cup grand final, escaping punishment at the judiciary one week after his stunning return from injury.

Walters had a nervous wait after last Saturday’s victory over Burleigh, when he was cited for a dangerous throw.

While he was still slapped with a grade one charge, an early guilty plea meant the 24year-old Melbourne Storm affiliate will be free to take to the field against Redcliffe at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Sunday.
