BIGGERA WATERS — STEALING

MORE than $2500 of items were taken or fraudulent­ly bought using a stolen credit card across the Gold Coast late last month.

A black leather and maroon-coloured Coach handbag was left in a car at Burleigh Waters. Inside was a $300 Coach wallet, Ray Ban sunglasses and reading glasses. The bag, worth $900, was taken out of the car between 8.30am on August 30 and 2.20pm on August 31, when a silver Hyundai Accent parked in Nuthatch St was broken into.

Later, transactio­ns worth more than $1500 were made on the stolen cards at a number of stores across the Gold Coast. Police believe the man pictured above may be able to help with inquiries. BURLEIGH HEADS — ATTEMPTED BREAK AND ENTER

TWO men allegedly tried to break into a store after hours in Burleigh Heads about 5.15pm on August 12.

After unsuccessf­ully trying to force open the doors, they left in a white Hilux, police allege.

Police would like to speak to the two men pictured.

BROADBEACH WATERS — STEALING

POLICE would like to speak with this man about a theft at Broadbeach Waters on June 19.

Between 4.30pm on June 19 and 1.30am on June 20, a woman discovered her wallet missing from the console of her car. She had parked on the street at Sarasota Key.

Credit cards from her wallet were used at stores at Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise.
