LEASING REMAINS POPULAR OPTION
LEASING activity is continuing to surge across Queensland’s industrial market as dwindling sales-stock levels increasingly keep a lid on owner-occupier deals.
Blue Commercial’s Ryan Bennett said leasing and sales-driven transactions had begun to “even out” over the past 12 months.
In a recent deal, Mr Bennett negotiated a five-year lease with a fiveyear option for timber products wholesaler Timport on a facility at Crestmead. The property at 73 Magnesium Drive comprises a 2420sq m high bay clearspan warehouse.
