IT is big, bold and unashamedly Gold Coast. The Ray White Muscular Dystrophy Ball was held at The Star Gold Coast on Saturday night attracting 800 of the city’s power players to party the night away. Since it started in 1993, Andrew and Greg Bell have been the driving force behind its success. Well over $3 million has been raised in that time, money which has gone towards medical research and to helping those families affected by the disease. Yes, it is a lot of fun but that is a serious amount of money.
