Appeal after biker deaths
FIVE men riding motorbikes died over the weekend in NSW, prompting police to beg riders and drivers to be more vigilant on the road.
The first occurred south of Casino in the state’s north, where a man lost control of his trail bike and hit a tree about 2pm on Saturday. The same day, three more riders aged 18, 21 and 46, were involved in fatal crashes in the Illawarra, Orana and Northern Tablelands regions. The final motorcycle fatality came after a 53year-old rider and a car collided at Spencer on the Hawkesbury River on Sunday.
