ARIAS ‘ONLY ROCK N ROLL BUT I LIKE IT’
KEITH Urban has promised a “fun as hell” night as he takes the reins of Australian music’s biggest night.
Urban will host the 32nd annual ARIA Awards at The Star in Sydney on November 28, more than a decade since he last attended the awards.
“It is going to be as fun as hell,” Urban said. “It is only rock n roll but I like it. It is a huge music night, something that is right up my alley.”
Having Urban on board is a huge coup for the awards considering he is one of Australia’s top music exports, having sold millions of albums and successfully straddled the pop and country charts here and in the US.
It is yet to be announced whether Urban’s Oscar-winning actor wife, Nicole Kidman, will accompany the singer on the red carpet.
