Packing $8400 of drugs in undies

MORE than $17,000 of drugs including liquid fantasy has been seized by Gold Coast police in two separate incidents leading to three arrests in the northern Gold Coast on Saturday.

Police from the Rapid Action Patrols pulled over a sus- picious vehicle at Jaiden Way at Coomera at 8pm and allegedly discovered methamphet­amine with an estimated street value of $8400 concealed in a man’s underpants.

In the vehicle police also allegedly found a clear liquid suspected of being fantasy with a street value of $3000 and a single round of ammunition.

A man and a woman, both 32 and from Coomera, were given notices to appear for two counts of possession of a dangerous drug and one count each of possession of a utensil. The man was further charged in relation to the ammunition.

Both will appear at the Southport Magistrate­s Court on October 11.

Meanwhile a second suspicious vehicle was pulled over around 10.40pm the same night at Coachwood Dr at Molendinar.

Police allegedly located liquid fantasy with an estimated street value of $6000.

A 38-year-old Hollywell man will face Southport Magistrate­s Court on October 11.
