Weight not quite right

JOCKEY Kerrin McEvoy is likely to ride Metropolitan Handicap favourite Brimham Rocks 1kg over the horse’s given weight in the Group 1 race at Randwick on Saturday.

The Chris Waller-trained Brimham Rocks is one of 11 horses in the field of 18 plus one emergency that has to carry the light weight of 50kg.

Racing NSW stewards are expected to have a full list today of riders who may need to ride overweight.
