No Moore for game’s chief
BASKETBALL Australia chief executive Anthony Moore is stepping down after four years in the job.
Moore departs the governing body having overseen a period of strong growth and taking control in the wake of the Australia-Philippines basketbrawl controversy this year.
Moore has been credited with turning around BA’s finances with revenue more than doubling during his tenure. He also helped clinch a two-game deal in which the Boomers play the US in Melbourne next year.
