THERE are many different elements to the Pink Ribbon Race Day at GCTC but the one that started it all is that starring Dr Robyn Cameron. She was easy to spot as she zipped around among the 800 attendees in the Events Centre because she never wears pink. A highlight this year was the attendance of the Lexus Melbourne Cup which patrons could be photographed with if they gave a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. As the largest charity fundraiser at the GCTC, it is a truly remarkable day.
