STEAL FROM VEHICLE – BROADBEACH WATERS

POLICE are investigat­ing the theft of credit cards from a car and the use of them to buy groceries.

The thief is alleged to have bought hundreds of dollars of groceries with a card at Broadbeach Waters.

Between 10pm on September 3 and 7.30am on September 4, a Mazda 2 was broken into in Lakeside Ave, Broadbeach Waters, and a laptop and wallet stolen.

The stolen credit cards were used also at a service station at Broadbeach and a grocery store at Surfers Paradise.

BREAK AND ENTER – ROBINA

A BAREFOOTED man has allegedly stolen a leaf blower from a backyard shed at Robina.

Police want to speak to the man pictured in relation to their investigat­ion.

He is described as caucasian, aged in his 20s to 30s, of average height with a proportion­ate build. He was wearing a jacket with stripes on the sleeves, shorts and a backwards baseball cap.

The leaf blower was allegedly taken at 5.40am on September 16 from a shed at a Ron Penhaligon Way address.

BREAK AND ENTER – MERMAID WATERS

POLICE want to speak to a man who may have informatio­n about a break-in at a Mermaid Waters pharmacy.

The man police are seeking was wearing an Echo United T-shirt with jeans and Adidas slides.

About 8.15pm on September 8, a rear roller door and internal door were forced open at the Gold Coast Hwy pharmacy.

An alarm was activated and a man left the scene. Nothing was stolen.
