Man accused of shower peeping

A MAN has been charged with trespass and peeping after a woman allegedly saw him staring up at her from beneath the partition on a shower cubicle.

The 37-year-old Victorian tourist was using the Byron Bay Caravan Park showers and getting dressed about 8am on September 18. She screamed and the man ran away.

The woman’s husband found the man and followed him into the CBD.

A 40-year-old man will appear at Byron Bay Local Court on October 8.
