NORTH STRADBROKE: Fish all beaches for dart, tailor, bream and whiting.

JUMPINPIN: Flathead are widespread throughout the Pin area, particular­ly in the deeper waters and along Kalinga Bank.

SOUTHPORT: Flathead, whiting, bream, flounder and small snapper at the southern end of the Southport Broadwater. TWEED COAST: Flathead, bream, whiting and trevally in the lower reaches of the Tweed River. FRESHWATER: Few little bass taken by anglers flicking surface lures along waterways such as Mudgeeraba Creek. Be wary of snakes when fishing along the banks of any creek.
