OFFSHORE: The weather has been alright. Out near the Canyons there’s blue marlin, striped marlin and yellowfin tuna. On the 42 fathoms there are kingfish, greater amberjack and pearl perch; 36 fathoms good numbers of pearlies and snapper and 24 fathoms snapper, jewfish and parrotfish.

BEACHES: Still a feed of tailor to be had around the pumping jetty, as well as dart.

BROADWATER: There are heaps of flathead. Good jewfish up in Jumpin Bar and a few sand crabs starting move through the waterway.

HINZE DAM: Still fishing well for bass and saratoga.
