Justin’s birdie in the belly

JUSTIN Thomas expects to feel the rookie nerves even though he boasts a CV befitting a veteran ahead of his Ryder Cup debut today.

The 25-year-old is one of three newcomers to the American side in Paris but, such is his status in the game, he hardly seems a first-timer.

Thomas won the US PGA Championship last year and, although now ranked No.4, he is a former world No.1. He has previously attended three Ryder Cups, including the 2010 event at Celtic Manor.
