Business a big hit with our readers

GOLD Coast Bulletin readers love their sport and business coverage, with the latest data showing strong gains in reader engagement.

The data, collated by Enhanced Media Metrics Australia (EMMA), shows a broadbased lift in readership for the July quarter.

Leading the way was the business section in the weekend Gold Coast Bulletin, which saw its readership surge by 14.8 per cent to 31,000 readers.

Sport and Gold Coast Eye also had impressive readership increases of 4.5 per cent to 46,000 readers and 5.3 per cent to 40,000 respective­ly.

There were also positive results recorded for the weekday sections including Prime Site, which rose 11.5 per cent higher to 29,000, and GC Shopper, which was up 12 per cent to 28,000.

The Play television guide liftout grew its readership by 2.9 per cent to 36,000, as did the weekday Sport section.
