Team dodges sudden-death

LOS Angeles Dodgers have scooped their sixth consecutive National League West title after beating the Colorado Rockies in a tiebreaker game.

The teams were forced to face off in an extra game ahead of the postseason after finishing joint top of the division, with 91 wins and 71 losses.

Cody Bellinger and Max Muncy both hit two-run homers to power the Dodgers to a 5-2 victory, while Walker Buehler yielded just one hit in almost seven innings.
