The Gold Coast Bulletin

LOOKING FOR LOVE IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES?

- SALLY COATES sally.coates@news.com.au

TONIGHT two eligible bachelorettes will stand in front of the nation and either have their quest for love shattered or realised by a “honey badger”.

Bachelor Australia star Nick Cummins has whittled 25 potential partners down to two on season six of the top-rating TV series, which concludes tonight. The Gold Coast Bulletin is getting in on the act and playing matchmaker for two lucky GC singles.

Recent Bachelor evictee Brittney Weldon knows all too well the Gold Coast is a tough place to find “the one”.

“Dating on the Gold Coast for me is non-existent, where do you meet people?” Ms Weldon said. “Being tall and loud is very intimidating for guys, I guess that’s why I find it hard.

“Everyone tells me, stop looking and they’ll be right round the corner... Please tell me where this corner is!”

The corner may be right here: Bulletin Bachies, let your local rag find you love.

Today we are opening up public nominations to find our city’s most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes.

Nominations close at midday next Friday and we will keep you updated on nominations as they come in.

From there, we will choose the top 10 lads and ladies who will go before a public vote. The top two will be treated to a sumptuous dinner at the city’s top restaurant – Nineteen at the Star – and a King Superior Deluxe Room for each winner at the Star Grand, including breakfast. Visit goldcoastbulletin.com.au/ competitions to enter and for full terms and conditions. Entries open 9am on 04/10/18 and close 12pm on 12/10/18. Winners will be notified by phone.
