Keep your car and what’s in it

POLICE are reminding residents to ensure their cars are locked at all times when left unattended after a spate of recent break-ins and thefts in vehicles.

■ Keep valuables out of sight

■ Keep cars locked and close windows

■ When possible, use secure parking

■ Park in well-lit places

■ Remove keys from the ignition

■ Don’t hide spare keys in your car

■ Keep keys hidden when not in use
